She's at it again.
Tawana Thomas will be giving away 200 plus Easter bags, filled with goodies and God's word to the community on March 28 at 9:30 a.m.
Thomas says the reason she is giving the bags is because of a simple acronym: What Would Jesus Do?
This is not the first time Tawana has reached out to the community children by giving away these bags.
She gave away numerous Christmas toys this past December, and also provided needy children with school supplies before the start of this school year.
Thomas said her motivation for these giveaways is a story from long ago, with a child she helped to find God.
The young single parent agreed, and so did the boy, but with a little hesitation.
Thomas assured the young boy that everything would be ok.
After Thomas brought the child home, the mother offered to compensate Thomas for her time.
Thomas believes that by handing out these bags filled with words of hope and love, she can bring the word of God to even more young people.
Each bag will contain a Bible, an Easter egg, a religious toy, a bible verse gold coin, a pencil and a crystal cross necklace.
When asked why Thomas felt so compelled to give so much, she simply said: "There's nothing I love more than giving."
