Mrs. Sandra Gayle Underwood, 56, died Thursday, June 20, 2002, at her residence.
She was a native of Columbus, Ga., a past resident of Atmore and Opelika and was a current resident of Talladega. She was an account manager and member of First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Underwood is survived by two sons, Phil Underwood of Opelika and Chuck Underwood of Knoxville, Tenn.; her mother, Ida Faye Carmack of Lanett; a brother, Micky Carmack of Lanett and a grandson, Gabe Underwood.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 22 at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Talladega with the Rev. Bill Gandy officiating.
Burial was at Pine Hill Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Allen Gray McMillian, Dyron Overton, Allen Ford, Tim Parker, Tommy Spears and Donald Underwood. Honorary pallbearers were First United Methodist Church Choir, Disciple Group, Allen Lindell and Bobby Joe Martin.
Usrey Brown Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
