Alfred 'Jack' Johnson

Mr. Alfred 'Jack' Johnson, 84, of Atmore, died Monday, August 5, 2002, at Atmore Community Hospital.
He was a lifelong resident of Atmore and a retired construction worker with Johnson Construction Company.
Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Lee Johnson; his parents, Sylvester and Fannie Johnson; a brother, Paul Lee Johnson Sr and a sister, Anise Brown.
He is survived by four daughters, Pearlie Mae Shedrone and Ceola Coleman and her husband, Hilbert, all of Atmore; Lunell Redmond and her husband, John, of Willingbro, N. J. and Shirley Beverly and her husband, Charles, of Roselle, N.J; five sons, Alfred Johnson Jr. and his wife, Delores, Steve Johnson and Randy Johnson, all of Atmore, Isaac Johnson and his wife, Linda, of Newark, N. J. and Winston Johnson and his wife, Robin, of Linden, N. J.; three sisters, Aurthor Mae Andrews and Annie Mae Andrews and her husband, Joseph, all of Jersey City, N. J. and Inez James and her husband, Joe Lee, of Tampa, Fla.; a brother, Clarence Johnson of Philadelphia, Pa.; 40 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, August 10 at 1 p.m. at Second Mt. Triumph Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Thomas officiating. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Scottie Johnson, Aldric Johnson, David Johnson, Timothy Finklea, Wendell Johnson and VonShay Johnson.
Turner Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
