In response to the urgency created by the recent announcement of a school budget crises, Escambia County Superintendent Melvin Powell has announced three special meetings to discuss school funding.
The individual meetings will be held on Jan. 14, at the Brewton Central Office; Jan. 21, at Flomaton High School ; and on Feb. 6, at the Escambia County Middle School in Atmore. All meetings will begin at 6 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend.
