Lady Chiefs open with Pre-Season Classic

The Northview Lady Chiefs volleyball team will open the season with an exhibition tournament in August.

The Lady Chiefs will host Escambia High School, Jay High School and Central High School in the Pre-season Classic on Aug. 25 before they begin their season at Catholic High School on Aug. 30.

Following their meeting with Catholic, the Lady Chiefs will move into district play taking on Laurel Hill (Sept. 1), Jay (Sept. 6) and Baker (Sept. 8).

The junior varsity will host a tournament on Sept. 10.

On Sept. 12, the Lady Chiefs will take on Flomaton and then travel to Tate on Sept. 13.

The Lady Chiefs will then play in a tournament on Sept. 16 and 17 at Spanish Fort.

Three more district games follow wiht Central on Sept. 20, Jay on Sept. 22 and Laurel Hill on Sept. 27.

On Sept. 29, the Lady Chiefs travel back to Alabama take on the Baldwin County Lady Tigers in Bay Minette.

The Lady Chiefs will then host a tournament on Saturday, Oct. 1 featuring only varsity teams.

Following the tournament, the Lady Chiefs take on Catholic in Pensacola, Fla. on Oct. 4 and then host Flomaton at Northview on Oct. 6 in a “Dig Pink” game.

The Lady Chiefs then close out the regular season with games against Baker (Oct. 11), Central (Oct. 13), Escambia (Oct. 18) and Tate (Oct. 20).

The district tournament will begin on Oct. 24 at Baker High School.
