Mr. Christopher LaKerrington Payne-Andrews was born on January 16, 1988 to Mr. Carl and Eartha Payne Andrews in Pensacola, Florida.

Chris attended Escambia County High School in Atmore where he excelled in baseball, football and basketball. He graduated from Oakwood Baptist School, Houston, TX. He furthered his education at Faulkner State Community College, Bay Minette, where he majored in Sports Medicine.

Chris departed this life Thursday, August 25. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John Wesley Andrews and Ida Virginia Tiggs Andrews, his sister, Laguanda Shanette Benjamin, and niece, Laguanda Shanette Payne.

Chris will be cherished in the hearts of his loving and devoted mother and grandmother, Eartha Payne Andrews and Rosie Harrison, both of Atmore, AL; father, Carl (Shirley Ann) Andrews, Jackson, AL; two brothers, Victor Payne, Atmore, AL; Torray L. (Natasha) Andrews, Theodore, AL; three uncles, Herbert (Charetta) Payne, Atmore, AL; Jeremiah (Carolyn) Payne, Trenton, NJ; William W. (Yvonne) Andrews, Dayton, OH; two aunts, Hattie Andrews-Sampson and Harriette Andrews (Rev. T.L.) Douglas, both of Jackson; a loving nephew, Darrian Payne, Mobile, AL; a host cousins, other relatives, and friends; a special friend, Brandi Sinquefield, and her children, Lanai and Shermeria.

Viewing Thursday, 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service at Jones Street True Pentecostal Holiness Church, Atmore, Bishop Willie L. Williams, pastor/eulogist. Following the burial in Stallworth Cemetery, the family will receive friends at the church. Services entrusted to Andrews Funeral Home, Jackson, Al.
