Mrs. Jeanette S. Ramer, 88, died Friday, July 7, 2000, in Atmore.
Mrs. Ramer was a resident of Atmore, member of First Baptist Church and greeted everyone with a smile at John's Cleaners for 50 years.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. Willie Ramer of Atmore; a brother, Morrison Stacey of Chicago, Ill.; a sister-in-law, Lois Stacey of Repton and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 10 at 10 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kelly Brown officiating.
Burial was at Serenity Gardens.
Active pall bearers were Harold R. Brown, Steven A. Brown, John White, Charles Lowery, Harold Fuller and Don Gordon. Honorary pall bearers were Deacons of First Baptist Church.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
