PENSACOLA – Northview High School Chiefs are still looking for their first victory on the season after the Catholic Crusaders won a tough district game 40-7.
In the first half, it was all Catholic, with the Crusaders scoring 27 unanswered points and proving as deadly in the air as on the ground.
The defense was just as rugged, holding Northview to only 24 yards rushing in the half.
It was in the fourth quarter, after one intercepted pass that turned into a Catholic field goal, that quarterback Nick Driver managed to get into the end zone on a running play for the Chiefs' only TD in the game.
