The Atmore City Council is continuing their efforts to clean up the community by contacting another 18 property owners concerning grass and weed violations.

The council approved this year’s third set of addresses during Monday’s regular meeting and official 21-day notices will now be distributed to the owners, giving them a final opportunity to resolve the situation before the city steps in.

In all, 26 properties were listed on the most recent set of addresses but eight property owners have, so far, complied with the ordinance.
