Escambia Academy’s Lady Cougars were back on the court last Thursday taking on the Meadowview Lady Trojans in doubleheader volleyball match.

The Lady Cougars went 1-1 in the doubleheader falling in the first match, but taking the second one.

In the first match, Escambia Academy fell 3-1 to the Lady Trojans. Meadowview won the first game 25-20, the third game 26-24 and the final game 25-20. The Lady Cougars won their game two 25-15.

Escamba Academy came back and won the second match of the doubleheader with Meadowview 3-2. Escambia Academy won games two, three and five in the match. The Lady Cougars won games two and three 25-23 and game five 15-12. Meadowview won games one and four 25-22.

The Lady Cougars next match will be a tri-match at Clarke Prep on Tuesday. The Lady Cougars will face off against Sumter Academy and Clarke Prep in the match.
