Mary Evelyn Webb
Daphne – Mrs. Mary Evelyn Webb, 88, passed away April 19 at Mercy Medical in Daphne. Funeral services were held April 22 at Atmore Memorial Chapel with Dr. Frank Kirksey officiating. Graveside services followed in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Webb was a native of Shelby County, Texas and a recent resident of Daphne. She was of the Baptist faith and was the granddaughter of a Baptist minister. She is survived by her husband, John M. Webb of Daphne; a sister, Mildred Williams of Tyler, Texas; a niece, Barbara LaBorde of Natchitoches, La.; and three nephews, Terry Atwood of Shreveport, La., Rev. John Atwood of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Sidney Williams of Tyler, Texas.

Nell Bonds
Flomaton – Mrs. Nell Bonds, 79, passed away April 21 in Flomaton. Funeral services will be held April 24 at 2 p.m. at the Flomaton First Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Keese and Rev. Tim McKnight officiating. Burial will follow at Flomaton Cemetery.
Mrs. Bonds was a native of Winfield, Ala., and a resident of Flomaton since 1954. She was Chairman of the Bereavement Committee and attended the Flomaton First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Hoyt Bonds of Flomaton; two daughters, Judy Bonds Kearley of Brewton and Susan Adkinson of Flomaton; a brother, Tommy Dykes of Grenada, Miss.; two sisters, Ruth Hales Ayers of Suwannee, Ga. and Louise McGaskill of Indianola, Miss; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brad Adkinson, Stevie Pugh, Derrick Stewart, Eric Conner, Dewey Bondurant, and John Coleman.

Clynton O. Boutwell
Lottie – Mr. Clynton O. "Herbie" Boutwell, 50, passed away April 17 in Lottie. Funeral services were held April 21 at the Fretwell Tabernacle Church with Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Graveside services followed at Lottie Methodist Cemetery. The family received friends Wednesday at the Fretwell Tabernacle Church.
Mr. Boutwell was a native and lifetime resident of Perdido, and attended the Holiness Church. Mr. Boutwell's parents, J.L. and Sweetie Boutwell; three brothers, Robert, Ray, and O'Neil Boutwell; and two sisters, Yvonne and Ethel Boutwell preceded him in death.
He is survived by his son, Cody Boutwell of Manistee, Mich.; four brothers, Richard Boutwell and David Boutwell of Perdido, Donald Boutwell of Atmore, and Hoil Boutwell of Stockton; and two sisters, Ester Boutwell of Manistee, Mich. and Evelyn Barrentine of Slidell, La.
Carrie Bell Watson
Atmore – Mrs. Carrie Bell Watson, 79, passed away April 19 at her residence. Funeral services were held April 23 at Lighthouse Apostolice Holiness Church in Atmore with Apostle Floyd Nelson and Bishop Robert Grissett officiating. Graveside services followed at Stallworth Cemetery in Atmore. The family received friends April 22 at Turner Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Watson was a native of Monroeville and a resident of Atmore for many years. She was a member of Lighthouse Apostolic Holiness Church in Atmore. She was a cook for Escambia County Jr. High School for 20 years and a cook for Atmore Nursing Care center for 15 years. Mrs. Watson's husband, Joseph Watson; her parents, John and Mattie Hall; her four sisters, Annie Wiggins, Ola Mae Robinson, Lillie Mae Hines, and Maxine Montgomery; and her four brothers, Jeff Hall, Sr., Johnny Hall, Sr., Willie Hall, and Nelson Hall, Sr., preceded her in death.
She is survived by eight daughters, Judith Dobbs, Juanita Salter, Zola Grissett, Sandra Knight, and Elizabeth English, all of Atmore; Ethel Frye, of Atlanta, Ga., Dedra Jackson of Pensacola, Fla., and Elizabeth Frye of Vancouver, Wash.; five sons, Ollie Frye of Atlanta, Clarence Frye of Vancouver, David Frye of Orangeburg, S.C., Earl Frye of Portland, Ore., and Ray Charles Jones of Mississippi; 51 grandchildren and 57 great-grandchildren.

R.C. Shivers
Frisco City – Mr. R.C. Shivers, 88, passed away April 10 at Monroe Manner Nursing Home. Funeral services were held April 23 at Bethel Rock AME Church in Uriah with Elder James Shivers officiating. Graveside services followed at Uriah Community Cemetery in Uriah. The family received friends April 23 at Turner Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Shivers was a native of Santa Rose County, Fla., and a resident of Frisco City for many years. He was a member of Bethel Rock AME Church in Uriah and a Church Steward. He was a Mason, and worked in the Pulpwood industry and retired as a logger. His wife, Ethel McKee Shivers; his parents, Tom and Ella Shivers; his son Thomas Shivers; four sisters, Mattie Bell Edwards, Pearl Peasine, Mattie May Robinson, and Annie Lee Crenshaw; and five brothers, George Shivers, Charlie Shivers, Theodore Shivers, Samuel Shivers, and J.D. Shivers preceded him in death.
He is survived by three daughters, Annie Brown and husband, Aaron, of Frisco City; and Scharlene Clark and Doretha Hands, both of Fort Dodge, Iowa; two sons, Elder James Shivers and wife, Barbara, of Frisco City; and Rochester Shivers of Fort Dodge, Iowa; 37 grandchildren, 92 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

Agnes Catherine Joiner Allen
Atmore – Mrs. Agnes Catherine Joiner Allen, age 93, died Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at her daughter Molly's residence following a brief illness. A homemaker, Mrs. Allen was born May 14, 1911 to the late James A. and Rachel Stewart Joiner in Pineville, Fla. The oldest of twelve children, she was preceded in death by seven siblings, a son, Harold Winston Allen, and her beloved husband, R.W. "Bobby" Allen.
As the oldest active living member of Atmore First Assembly of God Church, Granny Allen was the nursery attendant for fifty years until her recent retirement and was active in the Women's Ministries Group and the senior citizens' "Celebrate" group. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, she impacted several generations and leaves a legacy that will continue through generations to come.
Left to celebrate her life are her five children, Daniel Allen and wife, Janice; Molly Norris and husband, Edgard; Mary Lee Morrison and husband, Robert; Irene Goodman; and Annie Joyce McGraw and husband, Wayne; a brother, Hoyt Joiner and wife, Polly; three sisters, Ola Cavens, Hazel Gooch, and Delois Kimmons; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held from the sanctuary of First Assembly of God Saturday, April 23, 2005 with Reverend W. Don Davis and Reverend Ellen Lesley officiating. Active pallbearers were grandsons, Terry Norris, Darrell Hoffman, Dwayne Allen, Randall Allen, Bill McGraw, Michael Wayne Morrison, Michael Allen, and Steve McGill. Honorary pallbearers were granddaughters and great-grandchildren. Interment followed at Serenity Garden Cemetery.
