I would like to extend my thanks to the ambulance team, Dr. Mitchell, the nurses and staff of the emergency room at Atmore Community Hospital, and the crew of the Life Flight helicopter for their efforts taken on behalf of my mother, Sarah Hortense Justice, on Monday, April 18. The skill, professionalism, and caring of everyone at the hospital will be greatly appreciated by us all; now and in the future.
I think everyone should be thankful to have a hospital of this caliber, staffed by qualified professionals, in our community.

Atmore honors bus drivers
Please take note, it's an anniversary year for Atmore School Bus Driver Appreciation Day. The special event was held Friday. Thanks to the teamwork among our four schools and PTO's, the fifth year was even more fun.
Trustworthy may be the best word to describe our bus drivers. The bus driver begins each day with a welcome to the students. The trip to classes allows parents to feel safe. A timely schedule in the morning and afternoon is a real plus. The Atmore Bus Shop is very proud of the 2004-05 safety record. Our local citizens help create the bus driver's terrific report.
