Miranda Adkins lovingly announces the birth of her baby girl, Shayla Michelle Adkins, born Oct. 26, 2011 at 11:15 p.m. at Sacred Heart Hospital. She weighed 7 lbs. 1 oz. and was 20 inches long. She is the granddaughter of Michelle Adkins and Derwin Daniels.

She is the great granddaughter of Linda (Black) Davis and Tommy Adkins with respectful mention of the late Dover Daniels. She is the great-great granddaughter of Ellie and Ida Black. She is a welcome addition to all her extended family.
