Escambia Academy’s junior varsity Cougars pulled off a road win at Crenshaw Christian on Monday night defeating the Cougars 34-15.

The EA Cougars controlled the entire contest leading from tip off until the final buzzer.

In the first quarter, Escambia Academy jumped out in front quickly outscoring Crenshaw Christian 11-5.

The Cougars of Canoe continued to dominate the game in the second period as they extended their lead winning the quarter 13-5 to go into halftime leading 24-10.

Following halftime, EA held their control on the game finishing off Crenshaw.

In the third quarter, EA’s Cougars put together another strong quarter as they outdueled the other Cougars 8-3.

Escambia Academy eased to the win in the fourth quarter with both teams only scoring two points with the Cougars beating the Cougars 34-15.

Kainoa Gumapac led Escambia Academy in the win posting nine points and a steal, while Bo Ramer, Garrett Kirk and Scott Brantley all scored six points.

Kevin Gumapac added five points for EA and Blake Allen recorded two points in the win.
