Thanks for support of local bus drivers
We have done it again. The four Atmore schools and their PTO's got together with some wonderful business people to sponsor, for six years in a row, Bus Driver's Appreciation Day.
Our 2006 sponsors include: Gulf Winds Federal Credit Union, United Bank, Regions Bank, First National Bank, Brantley Tires, Southern Family Markets, Johnson Ford, Chuck Stevens Chevrolet, Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co. Barnett Xerox, B and T Barbeque, David's Catfish, Tammi Cuttin Loose, Carl's Tot Shop, Greenlawn Pharmacy, Curiositiques, Bert Rice, and Southern Pine Electric Corp.
We need your readers to share with their family and friends that it is very important for all of us to obey the law near our school buses. It is precious cargo. I have said it and please understand I must say it; again. Safety does not cost. It pays to be safe.
The next time you put a child on a school bus, smile and wave so our drivers know you appreciate their daily work.
