F.U.M.C. to hold VBS July 23-27
First United Methodist Church will begin the Adventure of the Treasure Seeker Vacation Bible School on Sunday evening July 23 until Thursday July 27 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a snack supper provided each day at 5:30 p.m. Call 369-0585 for more information.
Utilities board to conduct tests
The Atmore Utilities Board will be conducting smoke testing for sewer leaks in the northwest quadrant. This includes north of Nashville Ave. and west of Main St.
NWE booster club meeting July 23
There will be a NWE football booster club meeting on July 23 at 2 p.m. on the football field.

Rachel Patterson open house Aug. 9
Rachel Patterson Elementary School will hold open house/meet &greet on Aug. 9, at 2 p.m. for first and second grade students and parents. Students can bring their school supplies at this time. Parents are encouraged to join our PTO at this time.
Kindergarten orientation will he held Aug. 10, at 9:30 a.m. This is a full day for first and second graders. Kindergarten students will meet their teachers at this time. The first full day of school for kindergarten is Aug. 11.
Parents of new students are encouraged to register their children for the new school year as soon as possible. Appropriate papers, such as Social Security card, copy of the student's birth certificate, and immunization record are required.
Revival continues at Atmore Apostolic
The Holy Ghost revival in progress at Atmore Apostolic Church with Evangelist Darian Hosch will be extended for two additional nights. Services will be held July 19-20 at 7:30 p.m.
