Zelma Louise Moorer
CENTURY – Mrs. Zelma Louise Moorer, 79, formerly of Walnut Hill, Fla. and a resident of Century, Fla. died Monday, Dec. 4, 2006 at a West Florida Hospital. Services to be announced by Turner Funeral Chapel.
Louie Bryan Still
ATMORE – Mr. Louie Bryan Still, 40, passed away Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006.
Bryan was a lifelong resident of Atmore and was the manager of Atmore Appliances/Western Auto.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Ann Still; grandparents, Louie B. and Elaine Still, Margaret (Johnnie) Allen and John A. King; and an aunt, Joan Odee.
Survivors include: his parents, Merrill H. and Patricia A. Still of Atmore; three children, a daughter, Heidi A. Still, a son, Tyler Bryan Still, and Justin Still all of Atmore; Apryl Roberts of Atmore; Frankie Fails and Jesse Fails of Atmore; two brothers, Terry (Stephanie) Still and Jon (Becky) Still of Atmore; two grandchildren, Bailey Vickie Knighton and Kristen Skye Still both of Atmore; he leaves behind a host of beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006 at McCullough Christian Center at 2p.m. with Pastor Cornelius Phillips officiating.
Burial will follow at Judson Cemetery.
Visitation was held Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006 from 6p.m. until 8p.m. at McCullough Christian Center.
Pallbearers are Patrick Downing, Larry Dean Milliken, William Hasting, David Respress, Tom Benner, and Jarrod Schneider.
Honorary pallbearers are employees of Atmore Appliance/Western Auto and employees of Atmore Ambulance.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Danielle Denise Whatley
PERDIDO – Miss. Danielle Denise Whatley, 21, born in Atmore and a resident of Perdido died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006 in Bay Minette.
She was a cashier at the Tobacco Shack in Bay Minette.
She is survived by her: mother and stepfather, Pamela "Pam" and Bruce Ferrell of Perdido; father and stepmother, Tony and Cindy Wright of Atmore; brothers and sisters; Bruce Ferrell, Tiffani Ferrell and Dustin Ferrell all of Perdido; grandparents, Bonnie Whatley of Bay Minette, Thomas and Bonnie Wright of Bay Minette and Charles and Melvin Ferrell of Perdido; great grandmother, Nora Whatley of Bay Minette.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Herman Whatley and her great grandparents, Dorothy and Woodrow Wilson and Lindsey Whatley.
A memorial service for Miss Whatley will be held Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006 at 2p.m. at Fretwell Tabernacle Church with Sister Helen Stewart officiating.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006 from 6p.m. until the 2p.m. service on Thursday at the Fretwell Tabernacle Church.

Clyde McCall Northrop, Jr.,
FLOMATON – Mr. Clyde McCall Northrop, Jr., 91, of Flomaton passed away on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006 in a local healthcare facility. Mr. Northrop was born in Irvington, NY and had been a resident of Flomaton for the past 72 years. He was a member of Tree Farmers of America, was a charter member of the Flomaton Fire Department, past member of the Flomaton Town Council, and past director of Escambia County Bank, and was a member of the Tri-City Chamber of Commerce. He was a member of Flomaton First Baptist Church, where he served as Deacon. Mr. Northrop was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Northrop. Mr. and Mrs. Northrop were married for 71 years.
Survivors include: his wife, Inez Northrop of Flomaton; two sons, Clyde (Patricia) Northrop, III of Andalusia and Kenneth (Saranne) Northrop of Jasper; one daughter, Susan (Joe) McMath of Flomaton; and one brother, Arthur Northrop of West Palm Beach, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006 at 1:30p.m.at Flomaton Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry W. Keese officiating. Interment followed at Flomaton Cemetery.
Flomaton Funeral is in charge of all arrangements.
Visitation was held Monday, Dec. 4 at the Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel from 6 until 8p.m.
Pallbearers were Ken Northrop, Mac Northrop, Jeremy McMath, Joey McMath, Jonathan McMath, and Josh Northrop.
Honorary pallbearers were Baraca's Men Sunday School Class.

Paula Marie Millender Williams
ATMORE – Sister Paula Marie Millender Williams,38, was born the fourth child to Elder Harvey (Bernice) Millender, Sr. on March 12, 1968. She often quoted one of her favorite scriptures: "….Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." Psalms 30:5. Sister Williams' joy came on the morning of Dec. 2, 2006 when she departed from life into eternity. Sister Williams was raised in Harris Street A.O.H. Church of God. She accepted the Lord as her savior at an early age. She later joined with New Hope Outreach Ministry under the leadership of the late Pastor Vernell Gresham (grandmother). She continued her membership under the leadership of Pastor Hixon. Sister Williams was preceded in death by one brother, Timothy Millender; mother-in-law, Louise Williams; grandmother, Vernell Gresham; and a sister-in-law, Regina Williams. She leaves to treasure and cherish her memory a loving and devoted husband, Anthony Williams; one treasured and precious daughter, Hannah Williams; two God-daughters, MyQuila Stallworth and Shayla Harley; loving parents, Elder Harvey (Bernice) Millender, Sr.; three sisters, Jennifer (Shedrick) Foster, Regina (Rodney) Lafitte, and Helen Phillips; one brother, Harvey L. (Michelle) Millender, Jr.; four bothers-in-law, Michael Williams, Kevin Williams, Keith (Kenya) Williams, and Montre' (Mary) Hunter; one sister-in-law, LaTonya Williams; two devoted friends, Lanell Bonner and Bernadette Lawson; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006 at 11a.m. at the Greater Mt. Triumph Baptist Church with Franklin McNeil officiating.
Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday from 12 to 8p.m. at Christian Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
Pallbearers will be family and friends. Flower bearers will be the Class of 1986.
Mrs. Williams was a native and lifelong resident of Atmore.
