The streak is still alive.
On Tuesday, the Escambia County High School Lady Blue Devils of the softball variety extended their season opening winning streak to three games with a 7-6 win over Excel High School.
Raven Culliver picked up her third win of the season, pitching a complete game and striking out five batters. Martesha Crenshaw hit the first home run of the season for the Lady Blue Devils and the crowd went nuts early in the game.
The Lady Devils were able to grind out some more runs as well and equaled half of the team's wins all of last season at 3-0.
Courtney English went 2-for-3 at the plate and Leslie Lyons also had a hit.
The Lady Devils travel to Gulf Shores for the Dolphin Classic March 9.
