On the court, Jasmine Sanders was a force to be reckoned with. The Escambia County senior Lady Blue Devil averaged 13.1 points, 12.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 3.2 steals and 3.9 blocks per game in her final season in the blue and white.
She also recorded 22 double-doubles and seven triple-doubles during the season. Sanders was dominant down low in the post for the Lady Blue Devils on both sides of the court, scoring baskets and starting the fast break for ECHS off the rebound.
Sanders' accomplishments during this season garnered her the honor of being named the 2006-07 Atmore Advance Female Player of the Year.
Sanders will change colors from blue and white to gold and black next season, as she becomes a Golden Eagle at the University of Southern Mississippi. She verbally committed to play for Southern Miss last week after she visited the campus.
