Mr. George Eckerd Capers, 19, died Saturday, December 2, 2000, in Escambia County.
Mr. Capers was a former resident of Century and a resident of Brewton for most of his life. He was a member of Faith Bible Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Karen Capers of Brewton; a very special person, Hettie Capers of Century; two brothers, Jody Capers of Brewton and Billy Capers of Molino; his sister, Angelia Conrad of Flomaton; his grandmothers, Katie Capers of Century and Gloria Faye Lee of Flomaton; a grandfather, J.D. Harrelson of Huxford, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 6 at 10 a.m. at Dry Springs Community Church with the Rev. Gene Stokes officiating Burial will follow at Dry Springs Cemetery.
Eastside Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
