Students at Rachel Patterson Elementary School learned how they can help prevent bullying at their school Monday when they were visited by Jessica Brookshire, founder of the anti-bullying foundation K.A.R.M.A. (Kids Against Ridicule Meanness and Aggression).

Brookshire’s personal crusade to end the bully epidemic in American schools has taken her all over the United States and Monday’s presentation taught RPES students the importance of recognizing and stopping what she called the “bully monster.”
