ATMORE – Mr. George Renfrow, 93, of Atmore died Monday, July 2, 2007 at Jay Hospital. Public viewing will be Friday, July 6, 2007 from noon until 6 p.m. at Christian Memorial Funeral Chapel. Services will be Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Gaines Chapel A.M.E. Church. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Christian Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Margie Frazier Reynolds
ATMORE – Mrs. Margie Montez Trawick Frazier Reynolds, 87, of Atmore died Friday, June 29, 2007 in Bay Minette. She was a homemaker, born in Conecuh County on April 14, 1920 to the late, Alvin L. and Katie Griffin Trawick.
She is preceded in death by her husband and one daughter, Lucille Smith.
Survivors are: two sons, Walter Frazier and wife, Ollie of Daphne and Thomas Frazier and wife, Shirley of Atmore; eight grandchildren, Scott Frazier and wife, Pat, Jeff Frazier and wife, Amy, Michelle Boyde and husband, Mark, Christy Frazier, Craig Frazier and wife, Sara, Carlie Roley and husband, Jason, Kathy Ross and husband, John, and Jackie McKee and husband, Scott; 10 great-grandchildren, Sarah Frazier, Taylor Frazier, Felicia Singleton, Abby Frazier, Will Roley, Jacob Frazier, Johnny Ross, Courtney McKee, Kent McKee, and Clifton McKee; one great-great granddaughter, Sydney Ross; a special devoted friends, Deloris Lee of Bay Minette.
Services were held Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 10 a.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home with Bro. Otis Thames and Bro. Scott Frazier officiating. Interment followed in Booneville Baptist Cemetery in Booneville. Active pallbearers were: Bruxe Akins, Terry Boyett, Mark Boyde, John Smith, Terry Trawick, and Jason Roley. Family received friends, Monday evening, July 2, 2007 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Earl Eugene Roberson
ATMORE – Mr. Earl Eugene Roberson, 85, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2007 in Flomaton.
Mr. Roberson was born on April 10, 1922 in Roberts, Fla. to Charlie Coley Roberson and Mattie Lee Emmons Roberson. He was a former resident of Moyeville, a resident of Flomaton for the past 18 years, a retired Veteran of WWII, retired from Fore Sand and Gravel Company and attended the Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his wife of 66 years, Mary Maggalene Moye Roberson of Flomaton; his daughter, Mattie Lou Robbins of Flomaton; his son, Aubrey Eugene and Shirley "Pug" Roberson of Poarch; five grandchildren, Angie and Tony Gresham, Kimberly Forbus, Marlene and David McNaim, James Roberson, and Chad and Chasity Robbins; eight great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Harlon Morgan officiating.
Burial followed at Traveler's Rest Cemetery.
Visitation was held Monday, July 2, 2007 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were: J.C. Moye, Darryl Fore, Tony Gresham, Jack Knowles, David McNaim and Troy W. Brown.
Honorary pallbearers were: his grandsons, Ronald Burkett, Jason Forbus, Chad Robbins, Justin Forbus, James Roberson, Reece McNaim, Drake Robbins and Micah McNaim.

WALNUT HILL, Fla. – Mr. Joe Louis Thames of Walnut Hill, Fla. died Monday, July 2, 2007 at Shangh's University Hospital in Gainesville, Fla.
Services are to be announced by Turner Funeral Chapel.
