Inspired by elaborate Faberge' eggs designed for Russian Royalty, a creator of handmade treasures celebrates the season of Christmas.
Almost a century later, these ornate compositions serve as an inspiration to Hanna Eisenmann of Pensacola, Fla. Hanna was born in Germany, but now lives in Pensacola. With a steady hand and a vivid imagination, Hanna creates with an artist touch, using duck, goose and chicken eggs and then searching for unique fabrics, jewels and tiny treasures to nestle inside her jeweled creations. She completes her works with wax, beads and metallic trims, she sometimes uses faux and real antique jewels to make her egg art sparkle.
Van Watson, a long time friend, who shares her many hobbies including Ronsi, says Hanna works with a unique precision to create beautiful things. Attention to text details is quite evident with each finished treasure. Tiny snowmen surrounded by tiny branches laden with snow white/Father Christmas may carry a tiny snow laden tree with tiny beads inside as well as out; you may see saroski crystals sparkling. Some eggs reveal scenes so miniature you might wish to be a fairy, so you could step inside.
Hanna's one of a kind eggs are treasured by friends and collections and as the Christmas Holiday approaches they celebrate with these wonderful treasures of this very talented artist.
