Mr. Buford H. Coon, 79, died Monday, June 11, 2012 in Daphne. He was a farmer, born on July 22, 1932 in McCullough, to the late Jonah Amos and Ina Criswell Coon.

He was a member of the Sovereign Grace Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Faye Coon of McCullough; two sons: Frankie (Tera) Coon of McCullough, and Ricky Coon of Bay Minette; a daughter, Candace Coon (Ricky) of Dyas; three stepsons: Roy White, Thomas (Jennifer) White, and Michell (Gina) White, all of Atmore; a stepdaughter, Pamela White of Arlington, Va.; two sisters, Gwen Dorriety of Fairhope, and Mildred Mack of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Jessica Coon Tillery, Anna Coon Wilson, Jennifer Coon McGhee, Brigette Burkley, Clayton Coon, Ashley Harris, Colby White, Nolan White, Clay White, Noah White, Elise White and Jackson Breckenridge: nine great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be Wednesday June 13, at 11 a.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kevin Fralick officiating. Burial will follow in McCullough Cemetery.

Family will receive friends, Wednesday June 13, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home one hour prior to service time.
