Tom Byrne Park in Atmore will be the home for this year’s Cal Ripken 12U All-Star tournament for district 7.

Atmore, Tri-County and Northwest Escambia will face off to determine the 2012 champion, beginning with Atmore and Tri-County starting tournament play off Friday at 6 p.m. The winner of Thursday’s game will take on Northwest Escambia Saturday at 10 a.m.

The loser of games one and two will meet Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

Game four will be held Monday at 5:30 p.m. to determine a champion.

Admission to this weekend’s tournament will by $5 for adults and $2 for kids ages 6-17.

This year’s Amtore Cal Ripken 12U All-Star team members are Josh Booker, Jamaye Frye, Kuron Frye, Jared Gibbs, Trenton Hamilton, Ja’Bryce Hooks, Freddrick Flavors, Thunder Jackson, Delarrian Poole, Cadarius Smith, Evan Tatum. D.D. Poole is serving as the team’s manager while Larry Nichols will serve as coach.
