The Escambia Academy dance and twirl teams were honored at the University of Alabama summer camp this week.

In only their third year as a team, the girls were given a rating of superior by camp officials.

EA Headmaster Betty Warren said the girls have a come a long way in a short amount of time.

“They received a superiror rating and a superior trophy,” Wrren said. “This is only their third year in existence.”
