Three kidnap suspects arrested

A Valentine’s Day arrest by the Atmore Police Department landed three suspected kidnappers behind bars.
On Feb. 14, the APD investigated a complaint by a Pensacola woman alleging to have been kidnapped from Creek Enter-tainment Center in Atmore, according to a report issued by the department.
Upon arrival at the motel, Atmore officers began their investigation. The woman was transported to Atmore Community Hospital where she was treated and released.
The following day, the department arrested three Louisiana men and charged them with first-degree kidnapping. Among those arrested were, Paul Stacy Lejeune of Church Point, La., Timothy Paul Savoie of Arnaudville, La. and Kurt Wayne Benoit of Rayne, La.
The three men were transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton. According to an official, all three men were released on $25,000 bonds.
The name of the victim is being withheld for privacy and protection purposes.
