The Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce and 2008 corporate partner, First National Bank &Trust, will host a reception in honor of former Chamber executive director Emilie Mims Tuesday evening.
Mims received a call on March 25 from Gov. Bob Riley informing her that she had been appointed as probate judge for Escambia County. Her last day as executive director for the Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce was March 28 and she is now working in Brewton as probate judge.
First National Bank &Trust is handling all details for the party, Walston said.
FNB&T vice president Rene Godwin said the event will be catered by What’s Cookin’. There will be heavy Hors d'oeuvres along with punch.
The event will be a meet and greet at the FNB&T main branch, located on South Main Street in Atmore, Tuesday afternoon from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.
The public is invited to attend.
