FLOMATON - Mr. Jerry Lee, 58, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2008 at a Pensacola, Fla. hospital.
Mr. Lee was a native and lifelong resident of Flomaton, a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired employee from Masland Carpet Mill and attended the Allen Smith Holiness Church. A son, Clayton Lamar Lee; his father, Floyd T. Lee and a brother, Walter “Pookie” Lee, preceded him in death.
Survivors include, his wife of 34 years, Darlene Lee of Flomaton; a son, Jeremy Lee of Flomaton; his mother, Mazzie Lee of Flomaton; a brother, William Wayne Lee of Robertsdale and a sister, Sheila Holt of Flomaton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, April 30, 2008 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. James Pugh and Bro. Donnis Bowman officiating. Burial will follow at Lambeth-Boutwell cemetery. Visitation was held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Wayne Bell, Billy Byrd, Jerry Strength, Robert Holt, Dennis Nowling and Jerry Lambeth.
