Rachel Patterson Elementary School will be looking for a new principal after Susan McKenzie was named principal at W.S. Neal Elementary School in East Brewton Thursday.

McKenzie will take over the position left vacant when John Knott left the spot to take on the roll as assistant superintendent with the Escambia County Board of Education at the central office.

BOE Superintendent Randall Little said the move for McKenzie will be a benefit to students at W.S. Neal Elementary.
