Mayer gives thanks for prayer, support
To the Atmore Community:
Words are inadequate to express the overwhelming amount of comfort and support our family has received with the recent death of my husband, Mr. Tom. Truly Atmore is a community of caring people that never hesitates to share that caring with anyone who is in need of it.
Mr. Tom was a devoted and caring husband, father and grandfather. He was a delight to be around, his deep Irish tenor voice resonated with the Boston brogue that was his trademark. He brought sunshine into our life with his sparkling blue eyes and keen wit. He was a deeply spiritual and a committed Christian, and was rare in that he lived what he believed.
Again, thank you all for your many expressions of condolences and comfort. He will be missed by all of us. Yet, we know we will see him again, as that is the promise of our Lord. Thanks be to God.
