Atmore recently served host to two visitors who share a common bond the city.
Kenneth and Ann Atmore visited the city last Friday after a long road trip around not only the United States, but Canada as well.
The couple started in Calgary, made their way to Vancouver, traveled to Los Angeles, flew to New Orleans and finally arrived in Atmore.
Visiting the continent from Bexleyheath, England the Atmores said the enjoyed their trip and looked forward to continue on to Atlanta.
Ann Atmore said they liked the City of Atmore and the original look of the city.
The Atmores even took notice of Escambia County High School and even tried to give suggestions on how to help with the stadium clean up.
Kenneth Atmore said he thought it would a good idea if the people in the city came together on a day and tried to paint.
