ATMORE – Jane Hill Raburn, 56, beloved wife, cherished sister, dearly loved and loving aunt and niece and dearest friend of so many, died peacefully at her home Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008 after a year-long battle with cancer.
A native of Atmore, she resided in both Atmore and Hamilton. The daughter of the late Vernon "Buddy" Hill and Sarah Hill of Atmore, Jane was born Dec. 16, 1951. Her passion for travel and adventure included extended stays in France, Mexico and many parts of the United States. Jane loved art and antiques and was always in search of the perfect painting, figurine or piece of heirloom jewelry. Above all, Jane loved spending time with her family, friends, neighbors and two dogs, Sigi and Cricket.
